What Brand do you sell?

What Brand due you I sell?

I had an interesting discussion with a potential customer about the type of Heating and Air Conditioning equipment I sell.

I asked them why that was important to them and there was a dead silence, almost awkward silence. They explained to me that the Air Conditioning Contract that was there before me giving them pricing sold Brand X and could not stop talking about it and how everything else paled in comparison.

I asked them another question and that was, if there was a problem with there newly installed equipment was Brand X coming out to fix it? They could not answer the question.

So I asked them another question which was: Is it more important to have a quality installation of your new Heating and Air Conditioning equipment with great warranties or a fly by night contractor that sells Brand X with a tail light warranty.

My potential customer agreed with my reasoning and at that moment I asked my potential customer If I had something better than Brand X would they be interested in listening to what I had to say. Of courses they said yes, at that point I moved the topic of discussion to the installation process and away from Brand.

The point I am trying to make is that the Brand of the Heating and Air Conditioning equipment does not matter if it is improperly installed and city permits and inspections have not been pulled. The majority of new installations are either sized incorrectly or poorly installed. Please protect yourself and hire a qualified NATE C-3 contractor to install your new Heating and Air Conditioning System.
