Duct Cleaning fact or Fiction
I have had a lot of my existing customer calling our office asking me if it’s a good idea to get there duct cleaned. I asked them why my opinion is important to them. There response is they received a coupon in the mail for Duct Cleaning there entire house for less than I hundred bucks. My response is if it sounds to good to be true, than its probably not true there will be some up selling to pad the price.
My take on duct cleaning is this, if you have allergies or asthmas and live in a house older than 5 years you such have your ducts cleaned by a professional HVAC contractor. Not a carpet cleaning company or an auto detailing company that does it on the side to fill in the slow times. That being said the HVAC contractor should be using a Roto-Brush Duct Cleaning machine and not a shop vac bought at the home improvement store.
